My Mother teaches special needs specialising in dislexia, pfft, My dad is a computer dude… network andministrator last time I checked.

 

WHEN DID YOU FIRST START PLAYING GUITAR?

I first picked up a bass guitar wanting to join in with my friends at the age of 15 but I soon wanted the extra 2 strings!

 

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST BAND?

I played with a band called “Bad Name” which was a group of local lads knocking out classic rock covers, nothing new there!

 

DO YOU PLAY OTHER INSTRUMENTS?

I have done some gigs in an acoustic duo with my brother where we both played guitars and vocalised, can it be called singing?

 

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST GUITAR?

It was a “Vintage” bass but it all started when i got my first guitar a natural mahoghany gibson les paul special!

 

DID YOU EVER GET SINGING/PLAYING LESSONS?

I learned from Neil Watson of Sabbath for a couple of years who influenced me to learn metal rhythm techniques, at a time when I breathed 80’s rock a la Guns N Roses he opened my eyes to Ratt and from there things got much heavier!

 

WHAT BANDS WERE YOU IN PRIOR TO TOXIC TWINS?

I played in a college metal band, more beacuse I could than because I wanted to! Im much happier playing honest to god Rock N Roll!

 

HOW DID YOU COME TO JOIN TOXIC TWINS?

I went to college and met Terri outside on a cigarette break, thats one point for the smoking ban!

 

WHEN WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU CUT SOMETHING IN THE STUDIO?

With my college metal band “Cryptica” aged 17ish.

 

WHEN WAS THE FIRST TIME YOU WENT ON TOUR?

With the mighty twins at the end of 2007

 

WHEN AND WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST GIG WITH THE FIRST TOXIC TWINS?

First gig was october 5th at the Brickmakers in Norwich.

Im funny! I like all spirits regardless of my facial expression! I like Big girls! I dont like the clever ones, you know… the ones that look like they went to school! I cant count to five! (or can I?)

Home sweet home! Theres a time for going home and collapsing! Such a wonderful time!

Super Noodles (truth be told the cheap knockoffs are better!)

DB9? Id enjoy pretending I was james bond! Or i’d get a Herby replica (pimped) and play the theme tune really loud as I overtake 911’s. Mind you it’d be good to have the blues brothers cop car with the loudspeaker to heckle passers by!

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE AEROSMITH SONG?

I think sweet emotion but I have a habit of changing my mind!

Allsorts but I do still love my roots and it all started with sleazy cheezy 80’s Hairmetal!

The Dirt! The only boook i’ve finished! Or that one by dickens right?

Still my 2000 Gibson LP special, I’m looking to upgrade “Bobo” soon but i’ll love her forever!

Im training to be a teacher, sortof, I wouldnt be anyone else! (Rich?)

 

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SPORT?

Motorcycle Trials! Or the same sport without the engine, one of the 2!

Id like to be able to sing better but quitting smoking hasn’t chosen me yet!

 

IF YOU HAD TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS AN ANIMAL WHAT WOULD THAT BE?

A cheeky monkey? A scabby donkey? Id like to be a lion, let women fetch the food and laze around, a house mouse would be a fun if short life! They say its a dogs life but im not finding as much truth as i’d like in “their” claims, this one in particular!
